Fun and Free

We have been to many different botanical gardens. Manito Park is not as elaborate or impressive as some of the other places we have visited, but it is free and is a great place to relax and enjoy nature. Probably the most interesting places in the park are the conservatory, Rose Hill, and the Duncan Gardens. You may get a different experience at different times of the year. I have seen pictures of the Duncan Gardens with very vibrant colors. At the time of our visit the plants were a bit more muted, but it was still a pretty area to see. The conservatory had a decent collection of tropical and succulent plants. The park can get crowded and parking can be limited, but we were able to find a place to park without issue even in the middle of the day. On the whole, I highly recommend visiting Manito Park. Is a great place to experience the outdoors and nature with plenty of flowers to see.

    Gorgeous gardens
The garden is a hidden gem. It was very walkable, although the weather was very warm. There are may shady areas to escape the heat. We enjoyed the variety of garden sections, from rose gardens to local flowers and trees to the highlight of the sculptured Duncan garden.

    Inviting with more to see
Manito Park is heritage amusement floral museum. The bright colors with scalloped edging of the green allow for beautiful weddings that are masterminded publicly with seats for 5. Call ahead to schedule your wedding. It is chep less than 400.00 and sadly anyone in all of Spokane is invited. It being a "public park" You cannot request people to walk away. This is a 5 star park. In my opinion if you choose a wedding here, than you should want the world to see it. You have entered a beautiful floral landscape that all love.
