    Picturesque Lighthouse and interpretive displays
We stopped by when exploring Lime Kiln Park. The lighthouse now houses an interpretive center explaining the wildlife in the area and the history of the area. The hosts told us about the whale watching experience from this park. We enjoyed our visit.

    It's all about the orcas
You've already committed to visiting Lime Kiln Points State Park, so why not visit the interpretive center located at the base of the parking lot? Naively hoping I'd spot orcas (note to self: there were several nature photographers there with telephoto lenses hoping to do the same thing, but not yet spotting one), I found the interpretive center fascinating. It quickly disabused me of the assumption that I'd spy a pod. Still, I learned so much about the different pod families, their life cycles, how they are endangered, and more. As I said, you're at Lime Kiln, so spend an extra 10 minutes here.
