Larry Scott Memorial Trail, Washington, United States

4.5 (42 reviews) Spent More than 3 hours Ranking #8 in Port Townsend Biking Trails • Equestrian Trails • Jogging Paths & Tracks

A great trail for walking and biking

We walked from the Port Townsend boat dock down to the 2.5 mile marker and back. But you could go much further, a total of 7.5 miles one way. The trail is very well marked and maintained. Much of it is wide gravel or even paving. There was good tree cover most of the way after leaving the harbor area. You could also start from the other end at the Milo Curry trailhead off Discovery Road near the Four Corners. Go left at the Shell station.

Great trail to hike or bike
This trail goes a long way all along the water and through the adjoining forests and land. You can walk or ride your bike along it and feel quite safe doing so. Even on cool days it is protected by trees throughout most of the walk.
