Amazing garden tucked into a quiet neighborhood

Dr. Kruckeberg and his wife created a garden oasis here in the heart of this little town, planting thousands of native and exotic plants. It's a great place to wander and enjoy nature. Wile our visit was in December and there weren't many flowers, we still enjoyed the lovely plants and trees. We also bought a few native plants for our garden at home. There are a few picnic tables scattered about if you want to bring a picnic. There's also a place where kids can create their own fairy abode - supplies provided. The garden offers classes too - check out their website. Fun place to visit and I'll be back!

    Hidden Treasure
This gem of a garden is tucked in a woodsy neighborhood in Shoreline. You might drive right by and not notice, but you would be missing a beautiful garden. This garden has three main areas. The upper garden has wheelchair accessible pathways and places to sit, plant starts for sale, and lovely garden art. The winding path to the lower garden is a zone of it's own, with many wonderful nooks and turns, each with a new plant or tree to discover. The large lower garden displays trees, shrubs and plants from all over the world growing together in this lush Pacific Northwest setting. Every season of the year has something to offer in this hidden treasure of a garden!

    A Garden Jewel
This is not your typical fancy British garden. This is a garden that focuses mainly on native plants, shrubs, and trees. I grew up a couple of miles from the garden and didn't even know it existed until a few years ago. We recently visited and it's an amazing tour.
