Kerosene lamps
My wife collects antique lamps. Everything from kerosene to Hurricane lamps. Due to extreme seismic activity ( the wife says clumsy husband. ). We have made several trips for chimneys. We have been bringing our old friends from Alaska to their store, just to remind them of the old Samson's Hardware in Fairbanks. They have a great inventory and everyone that we have dealt with at the counters have been very knowledgeable. Go visit, and enjoy .

On-line, email and telephone interactions - Wow!!
Incredibly great experience - purchasing clamming equipment on-line. That evening, received an email indicating that the razor clamming was closed and asked if I still wanted the clamming licenses I had ordered. They called again the next morning to say they were not able to print up the licenses because of the closure due to high toxin levels and reimbursed the cost of the licenses. The clamming equipment arrived the next day. Amazing, courteous, professional service. Would definitely work with them again!!

Always Unexpected Finds
Jacks has a little bit of everything... from repairing stuff, games, dishes, food, and wine! Jacks has been there since I started going to Ocean Park in early 90's... we always stop in just to see what is new.
