A coastal stride in all weather
We travelled 7 miles into Fairhaven from the Lost Lake parking lot on this extremely pleasant trail, with breathtaking views over the islands and at times, canopies of trees, but always knowing there was a road below that parallels the trail that we didn't need to use to get to Fairhaven, we could walk it! Amazing experience!

Simply the best trail system around
I did the portion from Old Samish Way to Larabee. I was a bit confused by the portion of dirt road that is the trail but its was well worth the effort. Some moderate hills, muddy spots, slippery paths so not good for those who have limited mobility on this stretch. Highlights include creek side trails, waterfalls, ocean views, great flora and fauna.
