Hurts so GOOD!
Where else on the planet can you get a 60 minute massage for $29, I ask you? Imperial Foot Massage II is legit: no-nonsense, seriously deep tissue, ridiculously affordable massage and reflexology. No fluffy robes or Enya here, so if that's your thing, look elsewhere. Instead, most treatments take place in a group setting (kind of like a community acupuncture center, if you've ever done that) -- a line of several low massage tables in a room with low lighting and relaxing pan-Asian music. They also have private rooms and chair massage, if you opt for that, though. For the 60 minute "Foot Reflexology" treatment ($29), which is what I would highly recommend, you get so much more than what you'd expect from the title. You start with a warm foot soak in a bamboo tub, then get treated to a seated back/neck/shoulder massage. There is an extensive face/head/body massage lying down, then the foot reflexology part (which can be rather intense, just to warn you), then you get flipped over for for a back and leg massage. IT IS AMAZING. Did I mention it's an HOUR long?? Most of the massage therapists are older men, and they have honed their craft considerably. They also have a stamp-card system where you buy 10 treatments and get one free. Wonderful place. If we move from Tacoma, it will be at the top of the list of things I will miss!

Not Happy
Called ahead, asked if they could take in 2 people for a foot massage, was told yes. When we arrived were told no it was only her and she couldn't do it. then watched as we walked down, the strip to have lunch in a restaurant near by
