Stunning Bridge and Backdrop

My wife and I crossed the Hood Canal Floating Bridge on our recent trip from Seattle to Olympic National Park. The bridge itself is an impressive structure that floats on fixed pontoons rather than traditional supports due to the extreme depth of the water. This was particularly interesting as an engineer. The backdrop to of the Olympic Mountains as well as the deep blue water of Hood Canal provided a stunning view. I highly recommend driving across this bridge when in the area.

    Just a bridge
It's just a bridge, the views are nice like most bridges, but nothing worth going out of the way for.
