A fulfilling experience

A Hindu Temple in the traditional style should come as a pleasant surprise to all those to wish to worship Lord Venkateshwara, in the North West part of the United States. Though there are several Hindu temples around Seattle, this is the best one, in terms of the vastness of the premise and the way the temple is being run, in an organised manner.

    Must visit Hindu temple
The temple was still under construction when I visited and there was a make shift area where the services were performed. The tower of the temple is not clearly visible from the parking lot or front entrance. There is plenty of parking available. There were 2 priests available for service. Great experience and must do if you are familiar with Hinduism. Photography is not allowed inside the temple but is allowed outside on the parking lot and grounds.

Place to sit back, enlighten yourself with spiritual thoughts
Please note I am not good in literature reviews, so please forgive if there is(are) words which may hurt sentiments or beliefs of anyone unintentionally. As the name itself "temple" is a place to worship, devotee comes to pray to God, enlighten their soul wit good thoughts and request deity to forgive their sins. I personally like here to come to spend time with my family to find peace and take some time out to worship God and teach my daughter about our culture and beliefs. There are special events through out the year, diwali, holi, other hindu (north indian and south indian) festival celebrations. Also people do contribute in temple in their day to day activities like distributing "Prasad" and Food. Its free serving to all devotees. One can announce to contribute financially and arranging such no cost servings after discussing with management. Everything is very pure and religious if done with sacred heart and stable mind. As its a matter of religious concerns I dont want to make any foul comments, but only request I would have to my fellow humans is not to encourage or do any activity in the temple which fails the motive of its existence. Please don't use it to promote any one sub religion or culture or community. Its an organisation , its need funding to maintain, pay the fellow priests, expense in "PRASAD" I encourage to keep it alive and let it in our life for generations. But again money should not taper the main purpose of holy, sacred, pure place what we call as "temple". In my belief I see it a place to worship and bring internal peace to one's soul and mind while connecting to your deity and strengthening you as a whole. Dear devotees come and serve and be enlightened.
