Packs a lot in a short distance
Easily accessible hike right off HWY 2. Steep climb-900 feet in 1 mile-brings you to lookout. Good views, not great. We saw plenty of families on this hike. Overall, this was a very good hike.

Gorgeous views, not super hard hike
The beginning of the hike is not super smooth. It gets less steep and you learn to pace better after a few minutes, or maybe that was just me. Not super crowded. Limited parking. Actual stairs at the very top so you can see even higher. Just found out you can actually reserve and stay overnight. When I looked there was nothing available this season. One you are up top, look very closely because you can actually see Bridal Veils Falls at a distance.
