Fantastic wide bridge great transportation new technology

Ok what can I knock about this bridge??? nothing,,, its first class all the way!!! The only knock is on the city maintenance departments for not keeping it clean enough!!!! Seems to accumulate a lot of garbage of trucks and such that they just do not clean up often enough!!, otherwise they is just the greatest bridge!!, it's wide hi and has all kinds of room for traffic and pedestrians alike!!! This bridge is not pedestrian friendly for views as the centre median is the pedestrian crossways and the views are a long ways away! Unlike the Glenn Jackson bridge where you can see directly beneath you! However it's a fantastic traveling bridge!!!! Lots of lanes wide lanes and very smooth! No her key jerky type jumps from your vehicle!!! IF YOU NOT DRIVING then it has wonderful views if the river and both banks of the river! So very pretty!! I would like to have a house right on top if it!!! So I could enjoy more of the fantastic views it offers!!!

Crossing the Columbia River via Government Island
This unassuming bridge is like a flat platform connecting Oregon and Washington near Portland International Airport. It crosses over part of Government Island in the Columbia River. So you can see the island and how it is effected by the levels of the river. There are also nice views of Mount Hood to the east.

    Interstate bridge
The bridge itself is no technical marvel or architectural feat to behold. Rather, the view along the river as you cross the bridge is what you should focus on. A sweeping panorama of the Columbia is never a bad thing.
