This was the Highlight of our Weekend
This was such an unexpected find! I took my grandkids to Sequim for the weekend without any big plans and we stumbled across the place after a quick search on the internet. It's very close to downtown Sequim and super easy to get to. There's a great trail that crosses the Dungeness River using an old railroad bridge but the trail goes much further and is part of the Olympic Discovery Trail. The Nature Center appears to be very new and is just beautiful inside and out. It is staffed by friendly volunteers and has a really interesting, small display of local animals and a nice gift shop. In my opinion this is a "must see" when visiting Sequim.

In its early stages of development
This is a great place to get outside, get some fresh air, and to get a relatively-flat walk in that crosses the railroad bridge and beyond. In addition, there is a modest visitor's center (don't miss out on seeing and feeling the different furs with the back of one's hand), gift store, and coffee shop. There's plenty of parking, and even some EV chargers. It appears like this will blossom into something larger over time, but this is a great time to enjoy the fresh air and the scenary!
