    Fun historic camping
Stayed a few days at an NPS campground, Ft. Spokane. The pine trees were beautiful, campground very well maintained, restrooms clean. Plenty of room between campsites. There's an historical fort nearby with nice exhibits, occasional live reenactments.

    A good view.
When I hunt I like hiking. I see more and get to be closer to wildlife and the outdoors. No animals were harmed on my hunting trip but I did observe the best looking coyote of my life. I got to watch it for about 5 minutes as it meandered through the forest. It looked like it hadn't ever missed a meal but also looked like it had just come from a groomer. Sorry too far for a photo. The drive to Fort Spokane is about 24 miles one way and go back on the Creston-Miles road maybe 30 miles. Enjoy the scenery with canyons etc.
