Dalby Water Wheel, Washington, United States

4.0 (23 reviews) Spent < 1 hour Ranking #4 in Union Points of Interest & Landmarks

Looks like something out of a fairly tale!

This is literally just a pit stop off the main highway so a nice place to stretch your legs. Only about 5 minutes from the Alderbrook Resort and I think that children would especially enjoy this.

On the walk from Alderwood to Robin Hood Pub
The water wheel is a great little stop, particularly on the walk to dinner. A good historical sign tells the story, which is quite good (I won't spoil it...) . The building is open on occasion, but not during our stop. A great example of pioneer gumption and old time McGuivering!

    It's a water wheel
While slightly fascinating, I'm not sure that it's worth going out of your way to see this site. But it's within a short stroll of the Alderbrook Resort, so that's how I spied it and watched the water wheel for a few moments. It's a ten minute visit at tops.
