Uphill grind but man, best the waterfall is pretty spectacular
Don't give up when hiking up to Comet Falls. You will make it to the top and cross a cool wooden bridge before going just a few more steps to see this incredible waterfall. We stayed for a while in awe of the view and had a great lunch before heading back down.

Beautiful Sunday Hike
This trail head entrance is about 20 minutes from the Nisqually southwest entrance. There's a small parking lot on the left but if it's full, you can park on the side of the road or at the Christine Falls Bridge parking area which is farther down the road (about a 10 minute walk). I arrived at 9:15am on Father's Day and the parking lot was full, but I encountered few people. It's exactly 2 miles to the falls, but the trail is quite steep with rocks and exposed roots, so bring your hiking sticks. On a sunny day, you can see a rainbow over Comet Falls. Bring sun screen and bug spray. It's a beautiful hike!
