    Worth the drive
My wife booked us for the private tasting and tour. Each are $25pp. Viki was our excellent hostess. We arrived at the winery at lunch time and she recommended that we do the tasting before the winery tour. We had had a good breakfast in Seattle so cheese, meats and wine were a good substitute for lunch. We were seated at a table with linen tablecloth and were alone in the tasting area. She had selected 6 wines for us to try, which complemented the cheeses. We were offered additional wines and tried one more, but we still had to drive out. The pours were generous, and the wines were of the "reserve" variety. Definitely happy with the experience. Viki then led us on the private tour. Her enthusiasm for the winery and wines was evident and again she was always ready to provide more information. We were glad that we had the tour after the tasting. We then purchased two bottles we enjoyed from the tasting and proceeded to our nearby hotel on the Columbia River.

The most wonderful wine tasting at a beautiful place
My husband called ahead the day before our visit, and at the end of a ten day vacation in Canada. He was hoping Columbia Crest could arrange for a special tasting, maybe some cheese and crackers, etc. We were traveling with our daughter, son-in-law and three year old granddaughter. We arrived at noon and were greeted by Vicki. She had been told we were traveling with a young child and had brought special snacks from her home. Our young lady even had a “Tasting menu” which included Teddy Grahams, goldfish crackers and cheese, cut into fancy child pleasing shapes. Vicki was wonderful. Not only did we have the basic tasting, but a beautifully presented cheese and fruit plate, as well as wines beyond the basic. There was live music and our granddaughter danced while sipped. We have visited many wineries in many local and international locations and this may have been the best. Thank you, Vicki, for a truly exceptional experience.
