Piece of Important Native American History!!
This place must be visited if you have any interest in the 19th Century history of the settlement and development of the American West. The legacy left by Chief Joseph of the Nez Perce is very important. Here was a man who did not believe in violence yet was involved in the most successful conflict with American military in the late 19th Century. This site gives you some of that history and the shameful and disgraceful way he and his tribe were treated by the American authorities. Memorable visit of someone I would consider to be real "Good Guy".
