Great hike for hot summer days
My hiking group of 7 ladies, aged 55 - 75, enjoyed this cool shady woodsy hike in mid July. Enough up and down to make it a good workout, but not overly strenuous. The beach area at the falls was very refreshing. Finding the right trail among many side trail possibilities was a bit of a challenge, but the trail description posted on the WTA website was helpful. Trekking poles were helpful for the stream crossings. Note - very limited parking, mostly along the road, with tow-away zones signposted.
