    Mountain Goat Galore
    We hiked Cascade Pass today and it was great. Be sure to get there early to beat the heat, the flies, and the crowd! Had amazing views and we saw about 6 Mountain Goats. Highly recommend for someone interested in hiking. We got to the trailhead at around 9:30am.

    Hiking
    I had the opportunity to pass my summer 1984 as a SCA Volunteer as Backcountry Ranger at Cascade Pass. This was maybe the best 3 months of my life ... I am Swiss so I can judge. The Cascades are like our Alps somehow... lower wilder and no cows or huts. Beware bears ?
