Bunch Creek Falls, Washington, United States

4.5 (14 reviews) Spent Ranking #24 in Olympic National Park Waterfalls

Easy to Visit Roadside Waterfall

Bunch Falls is roadside waterfall near Lake Quinault, just inside the boundary of Olympic National Park. There's no parking area, but enough room for a couple vehicles to pull off on the side before the bridge. The water level was low when we visited, but it was still a nice waterfall and worth a stop. In low water, it was easy to scramble around on the rocks. Definitely worth a stop if driving the loop drive around Lake Quinault.

Easy Stop to View these Pretty Falls
Heading north on the South Shore road from Quinault, you will drive past several gorgeous falls, including Bunch Creek. It is unmarked as far as I can tell, but you will know it from the bridge that you cross over Bunch Creek, and the large Olympic National Park sign just before the bridge. There are pullouts on either side of the bridge so you can stop and take some photos.

Worth a trip off US 101
Take the Qinaualt River Road off US 101. It follows the river and by the Lake and the Quinault Lodge which is worth both a stop and meal just for the view if nothing more-past the lodge several miles is the Bunch Creek Falls- no hike is necessary.
