Petroglpyhs!
We were told that we could see petroglyphs with boat rides or driving along the Snake River Rd, WA. We drove 18 miles south of Asotin on a paved road and found the sign that says "Buffalo Eddy." There were a few campers on the narrow stretch of the river bank. We found the trail on the left side facing the river. Where the rocks are, you will find ancient petroglpyhs.

Up close and personal
Wow! I never thought I would get to see ancient petroglyphs so up close and personal! There were so many!! And the location on the Snake River is so magical. Make time to stop here.

Take a big zoom lens if you are seeing it on one the the Tour Boats
Our Hells Canyon Tour boat stopped just long enough to take pictures from the boat. I had my 18-130mm lens on my Fuji X-T2 camera to take a picture. I wish I had time to change over to the 100-400mm lens for a better picture.
