Beautiful, clear lake

I use the VA here at American Lake, WA. Our meditation groups met last summer by this lovely lake. So peaceful and amazing to spend time at American Lake... truly a blessed place

    Daughters Wedding
    My daughter had her wedding at American Lake. It was first class service from the first contact until the last dance. The staff at American Lake are outstanding! The location is better than any other location in the entire Seattle/Tacoma area. The food was beyond expectations. What a beautiful place to have any venue. We are so fortunate to have had access to this prestige location ! Thank you so very much American Lake Conference Center for making our daughters wedding so very special !

    Nice Place to Sit in the Sun!
    This is a very nice little park on the north side of American Lake. We stopped by after a doctors appointment at the VA Hospital located on the lake. We were very lucky to see two bald eagles swooping down to pick up fish swimming near the waters surface. It was a very heartwarming experience for an urban area. The park is small, but very well maintained by the City of Lakewood. On a typical summer weekend - it can get really crowded. But Monday -Friday during the work week its a very pleasant place to visit!
