Stretching over 2.5 miles, this long beach strip is one of the most popular beaches in Seattle, partly because it was featured in the film 'Sleepless in Seattle'. Nice little walk with great Seattle city view
Nice little stretch of beach to stroll along that offers great views of the water and a Seattle city view. We stopped for a bite to eat a great Mexican restaurant. Glad we visited.

Great view of Seattle skyline and water traffic.
We did not indulge in the "sandy beach" part of Alki, so I cannot comment on that. But it is a long stretch that mitigates the challenging parking situation and offers well maintained paths for walking or bike riding, and many benches to sit, visit, contemplate and enjoy the view of the city and the sound. One significant negative though is that the public restrooms are nasty; I wish they could do a better job maintaining them. That's the only reason I gave 4 stars rather than 5.
