Always beautiful
I don't know how many cities have this kind of wilderness park in the city limits, but in any case Tacoma is lucky to be so blessed. Just the drive through the old growth forest is interesting, even if you don't walk any trails. You can also go down to the beach and walk it unless the tide is in. Great place.

Nice relaxing bike ride
I rode the 5-Mile Drive with my wife on our bikes and had a great time. This drive is closed to cars, so it was a safe and stress free ride. There are a few hilly spots, but they were easily overcome by our e-Bikes! I'll definitely ride this trail again when in the area.

Always a treat
My brother took my mother and I with his wife for a drive...and we loved it. Was winter but still lovely as always. Having grownup in Tacoma area on and off and revisited many times over 65 years of traveling...I have seen the changes but also the beauty that has grown into a very pleasurable drive through.
