Join us at a League of Her Own on Thursday, May 4th at 8 pm for a Stand-Up Comedy show. FT. DC's funniest LGBTQ+ comedians.

The goal of this Comedy show is to provide a platform specifically to highlight DC's most talented LGBTQ+ comedians.

MC: : Gray West

Gray West has made a name for himself as a yellow brick road comedian with his high-energy and hilarious performances. In addition to frequently hosting shows at the renowned DC Improv, Standup NY, and Helium Philadelphia, Gray is the host and producer of Champagne and Comedy, a popular queer comedy show at The DC Comedy Loft. He placed 4th at The Comedy Mob Festival at Standup NY. He has also had the opportunity to open for well-known comedians such as Maddy Smith, Sydney Washington, Beth Stelling, Matthew Broussard, Judy Gold, Jeff Arcuri and Erica Rhodes. Gray is one to watch in the comedy world with his unique style and positivity.

Feature: Stacey Axler

Stacey Axler is a standup comedian based in Washington D.C. Stacey’s standup comedy style fluctuates between observational and surreal. A clean comic, Stacey’s interactive style is guaranteed to engage the audience, encourage audience participation, and keep everyone laughing. Stacey performs regularly throughout the DMV. Top performances include at the DC Improv, as a featured performer in Baltimore’s Inaugural X Festival, and in a solo show for PIT’s Solocom Festival in New York. Stacey is also a show producer and hosts the bi-weekly standup show Comedy Is Calling.

Headliner: Michael Abber

Michael Abber is a Brooklyn-based comedian who loves to talk about sex, dogs, and dying. Informed by his queer and Jewish identity, Abber’s standup comedy has rightfully earned him a reputation as “a dirty, filthy heathen” and “loud.” He serves as the "Titular Darling" for Neighborhood Darlings — a monthly comedy show/social experiment he hosts at Club Cumming. He also co-hosts Hot Gossip Comedy, Brooklyn's favorite biweekly smack-talking comedy show, with Jonathan Van Halem. Abber has performed at major comedy venues such as The Bell House, Union Hall, Stand Up NY, and Club Cumming. He loves Barbra Streisand exactly as much as you think he would.
