Winter Walk
The weather was not brilliant mostly light drizzle rain, but we did route 18a for around 10km. A great route mainly in the trees and forrest track, along the babbling shallow river, through the cute cottages and gites. I can imagine in summer it is beautiful when the leaves etc are out. A great walk however.

Beautiful hike! Come early
As the other reviews pointed out, it's a good idea to come early. We were here on a Thursday morning in August around 09:15 and grabbed one of the last parking spots. When we got back around 11:30 the road was fully parked up. The first part there were some families around is, but after about 2km, where the paths split, we had the rest of the track all to ourselves. So beautiful!! As mentioned before, bring water snacks and hiking boots. Really recommend this hike! Ps There is no toilet during the hike. Ladies, if you must go, then pick up your 'toilet' paper.. It's pretty obvious there's a point where a lot of people went ?

Nice - but crowded - hike
Hiking here takes you through beautiful landscapes and it is certainly worth a visite. If you are not sure footed you should probably be careful walking here due to differences in levels, slippery rocks and the likes. It is also very crowded here, so if you are looking for a nice and qiuet solitary walk, there are lots of other hiking trails in the area - try for example the GR57. The signage is not great.
