Fantastic!! Must see for all ages

The museum is a hidden gem. Tucked away past the gardens of the Grand Plac. The whole family enjoyed the museum with its interactive displays and colourful history. It is reasonably priced and enjoyed by our whole family. We traveled with our kids who were 8 and 11. They loved it!! My son bought a wooden sword and wore it everywhere after. Slaying the doudou.

Great museum about one of the oldest St George and dragon fight festivals
This is a museum about the "ducasse" the 2 and a half day religious procession and feast, which exists of 3 parts, the lowering of the shrine of Waltrudis in the church (can only be attended by locals), then the net day the procession of the shrine and then the following and last day the fight between the dragon and St Georges. The museum has many videos about this festival, as well as pictures, and also a very good text about how the procession and festival has changed between the first procession in the 1248 and the first fight in 1440, and the characters that were added through history, such as the wild men. The festival, even part of the procession is rather wild, with lots of public participation.

    Great museum
Excellent interactive displays and history are well told. We were told about the Doudou festival the previous evening in a restaurant by its patron who advised we attend and we were really happy to have been given this information
