Alternative to a cup of coffee
The ticket costs less then a cup of espresso and it offers relaxing atmosphere with some of the most famous pieces of Serbian art. There is a corner for reading where visitor can flick through some art books, "room for the indulgence in art" (or something like that) where one painting is in the spotlight with the addition of music and some really cute souvenirs for a reasonable price. Very pleasant place for having a break.

Excellent Art Museum
This was a pleasant surprise. The museum is well organized and we enjoyed the Serbian art a great deal. English signage was available for most of the items which was very helpful. The woman selling tickets was extremely helpful. Lastly, we got in for free because it was Friday! Highly recommended.

it is a great insight into Serbian art, wonderfully presented
It is free of charge on Fridays. There is a modern art section that included some of the most innovative and original works I've ever seen. The portrait galleries show great works. The architecture of the building suits the purpose perfectly and the staff at the desk are kind. My favorite painting wsa, of course, Uros Predic's "Pouting Girl"
