A MUST See and Visit!

We purchased the Single Day Combo ticket (includes): Jamestown Settlement and the American Revolution Museum. This allows a (1) Single day visit ticket to each museum. Meaning you get (1) visit to each museum location. There are many combination tickets you can get but this worked the best for our visit. These museums are GREAT and are WELL worth the price of admission. Allow enough time to see both. We thought 1-2 hours would be enough but it would not be. So allow yourself not to be rushed and enjoy the history. The museum and staff here do a wonderful job and are friendly. FYI, the National Park service operates the " Historic Jamestown" just around the corner which has the Glasshouse and other exhibits (separate and a fee). These are independent of this museum.

Beautiful place to be reminded of some history
Only had two days in Williamsburg so did an unticketed after-hours stroll through Colonial Williamsburg on arrival yesterday, then spent several hours at Jamestowne Settlement today. For the very reasonable $18 admission per person, we spent a couple of hours wandering the replica tribal village, the boats and the fort, and then another two hours at the exhibits in the main building. While these are not the original buildings they were very well-presented and the interpreters did a great job of answering questions. The indoor films and exhibits were beautifully done. I’m not sure that it would be enjoyable for very young children but most of the adults and older kids we saw seemed to be having a good time.

    Enjoyable
Was an enjoyable family experience walking back in time. The actors were very knowledgeable and answered all of our inquiries. Was a history lesson that I do not believe anyone of us will be forgetting anytime soon. My only real complaint was there are really two separate attractions, both worthwhile, but also both costing money. We had bought a combination package while in Yorktown, not realizing it was only inclusive of part of Jamestown.
