We really enjoyed it

The Toys’ Museum in Vilnius is a very young museum which chose the direction of modern museology and wishes to demonstrate that science and culture may present a very interesting experience which enriches a person’s childhood. The Toys’ Museum transmits scientific knowledge about the history of toys from the oldest to modern times in a family friendly way, through personal experience gained playing with toy replicas, participating in workshops, listening to fairytales, taking part in discussions and conversations with professional educators. The museum creates a relaxing atmosphere, fosters creativity and curiosity and thus helps develop a child’s personality as well as builds bridges between visitors of all generations.

It was perfect stop for our children (6 and 3 years old). Good collection of old soviet toys. Staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend!

    NOT ONLY FOR KIDS!!!
I took my son to the toy museum together with another couple and their child. I was surprised and delighted at how friendly and helpful the staff were! They gave a tour of the toys while the two children had a wonderful time playing. This is a hands on museum. You do not just look at the art, you PLAY with the art. Only two problems with this place. First, it was VERY hard to find! Fortunately we met friends there. But we arrived 5 minutes early and were looking for the entrance. If it was not for our friends who had been there before, I think we would have been in trouble. Second, my son did not want to leave because he was having so much fun. He cried when it was time to go. How do you remove a kid from a toy museum? By all means if you have kids, take them to the toy museum. Just make sure you have a back up plan, like a phone number, in case you can not find the entrance.
