The Blowhole, Victoria, Australia
4.5 (10 reviews) Spent Ranking #5 in Hepburn Springs Bodies of Water
Picturesque
A car park is at the top of this water feature with a good boardwalk and steps to look out over the blowhole. On the day we visited there had not been much rain so it wasn’t blowing. It was still very picturesque. We then went ahead and did the diggings loop walk which was a lovely walk with some steep ascents and descents. The track is well maintained

Blow me Down
So this one caught us by suprise. Nowhere near the Coast so a Blowhole ? WTF ! Man made by Gold Miners in the 1800s, the water blasting through the hole was brilliant. Gravel Road is narrow on the way in so drive carefully. Boardwalk, Info, Steps down to the feature. Well worth a visit.

Scenic Views
My wife and I visited this place recently during our 3 days holiday in Daylesford. Gold miners created this small circular hole in the side of the hill around the early 1870s. When Sailors Creek is full from winter to early summer, The Blowhole is an impressive sight, spurting water out - creating a man-made waterfall - over a rock face to the pool below before continuing down the scenic Sailors Creek. The recently installed walkway, from the gravel parking area, leading to the edge of the gorge and down to the base to view the Blowhole is a very nice improvement.
