Park & Pondage Perfection
Whether you're a local, staying nearby or simply passing through the Bicentennial Park is a wonderful place (for adults and children alike) to pass the time of day. In terms of playground equipment it's better equipped than most. There are several slides and swings along with ample things to climb, bounce and swing on. There are BBQs and undercover tables if you'd like to enjoy a picnic here. Considering the utterly stunning and picturesque view you'd be hard pressed to find a better place to do so. It's also a great spot to stretch your legs - the circular pondage track is an easy 3km loop that features spectacular views. It can be enjoyed by bike or on foot. The park also features public toilets and ample parking. Each visit we found children (and families) playing happily. Who can blame them? There's a lot on offer here to enjoy.

Lovely stroll
Easy flat walk of about 3 Kms around a lake with great views of the water and the surrounding mountains. Quite a bit of bird fife and BBQs and play equipment in the park nearby. Council has also installed some exercise equipment a bit further round the lake. Great place for a relaxing stroll. I can also recommend another easy walk nearby which goes down along the river to Pebble Beach.

Great Walk.
Lovely flat and easy walk with beautiful views over the water and of the surrounding hills. Only about 3 KMs and there are electric bar-b-ques in a park along the way. Council should be congratulated for their efforts in keeping the whole area clean and nicely mowed.
