Such a great experience!
Nothing you have ever experienced will prepare you for the awe inspiring view of Melbourne from the observation deck of the highest public vantage point in the Southern Hemisphere. Located at Level 88, Eureka Skydeck is Melbourne's new 'must-see' attraction. Skydeck 88 is the only observation deck in the world that can thrill you with the Edge - a glass cube which projects 3 metres out from the building, with you in it!

Good views of Melbourne
The view of the city from the viewing floor is excellent. The Sky Deck is a glass platform that slides out of the building so that you get the feeling that you are floating outside the building. To go on the Sky-Deck you have to pay a further A$10 per head. The experience is not as good as it sounds, mainly because the glass is not spotless so your brain knows that there is something there holding you up. The glass windows are also dirty so that you do not have that pristine view that I was expecting to see. In addition, photography is forbidden, which is a real downer. If this is any consolation, the operators will take pictures of the guests using their own cameras that have to handed over when you enter..

Great view
Great place to visit, perfect during Covid as there aren’t many other people. Look out for discounted tickets. Ours were $14 each. I’d recommend arriving just before it gets dark so you can see the city in day and under lights.
