A Wonderful Place to Enjoy the Atlantic

One of the first places we stopped. The surf was quiet when we were there with only a few beach goers. A couple of jet skis were plying the water and there wasn't much swimming. We were impressed by the tranquility of the area. Later we were told this is a good place for surfing in the winter when the waves come in., There was lots of parking and a great experience for us. Appears to be a great spot to watch the sunrise.

    High Tide, Large Waves!
    We stopped by to spend some time at the ocean. The tide was so high that we couldn't get down the stairs without getting soaked from knees down! Also, there were signs warning of rip tides. We made ourselves comfortable on the stairs and just enjoyed watching the huge waves.

    ARGHH!! PARKING!
    This is my family's second time in Vero Beach, and this is a tradition. We love going here and having fun in the waves. There is one slight problem though. The parking. Every time we go there, the parking is a problem. We almost never get a spot and when we do, it is always super hard to get a nice spot. One way I would suggest to get past this annoying issue is to get there early in the morning or in the evening. Other than that, the beach is very fun, the waves are a nice size, and boogie boarding is cool! I would definitely recommend this place for new and old comers to this nice sleepy hollow!
