Great Spot for Kids and Adults
If you want to get off the beach and see some of the natural beauty of Vero without going far, head over to the waterpark at the end of the Barber Bridge on the mainland. The waterpark is excellent for kids, especially small ones who are scary at the beach or pool. You can sit in the shade and watch the boats go by on the river. There are also restaurants (some better than others but that's another review) and shops along Royal Palm Boulevard. It's well worth the trip.

Lobster Shanty update
This great restaurant has closed permanently. Area will be developed by a private club. Sad!! Hopefully the point and park are not badly impacted. We will see if the city makes good decisions or money wins.
