We come to Jaycee Park area every 2 months or so for the beach. It has faucets outside, to rinse the sand off, and restrooms. Seaside Grill is right there, though we usually go elsewhere. The food is nothing great and pricey but it is convenient. Today, there were lots of kids, families, and couples. People were good about social distancing. The beach was clean. We watched out for man o war, but fortunately, there were none. Plenty of kids and adults out in the ocean. As far as I can tell no one got stung. I found shells, as that’s a favorite activity for me. It’s one of my happy places!

Nice Park Next to the Beach
We visited mid-week and had no issues finding parking. The park is a nice green space right next to the beach. There were lifeguards on duty when we were there. Bathrooms available. A nice food establishment was there, but we did not go at that time. Adjacent to the park is a boardwalk, which was the focus of our trip. However, they are currently restoring it and many parts of it were under restoration. Beautiful views if you like taking photos. A couple of sheltered spaces to avoid the sun if you would like to sit and listen to the surf. We hope to be back one day and enjoy the boardwalk.

Nice city park
This was our favorite beach and park in this area. The beach was natural and not crowded. There is a long boardwalk that is especially nice to walk on windy days. There is a bathhouse that is older but was clean when we visited. There is a little breakfast/lunch restaurant right on the beach.
