Well Worth a Visit
Set down a side street just a couple of minutes walk from the main square this is a must visit on any trip to Verona. When we arrived there was a huge throng of tourists from all over the world. For €7 you can enter the house, a kind of small Museum, but let's face it the main reason is to stand on the world famous balcony. In the courtyard and also in the house you can write your letter to Juliet and post it in the mailbox. There is a statue of Juliet where myth has it gentlemen should rub her left breast to bring luck in finding love. In the gift shop they sell lovelock's which can be placed with the others on the wall and if you feel inclined you can leave your message in bubblegum or write your message on the graffiti wall. All in all well worth an hour of your time in Verona.

A lovely place with a beautiful statue of Juliet
I would say that anyone who didn't see the balcony of the legendary Juliet hasn't been to Verona. The small courtyard where the statue of Juliet is located and where you can see the balcony from which she talked to Romeo is free to enter. If you want to go in to Julia's house and step on the legendary balcony, you need to buy a ticket. Julia's statue is very pretty and tourists like taking pictures with her. Our guide told us that the walls of this courtyard used to be covered with messages from lovers. Today there are none (probably it is prohibited), but people write messages on the walls of other houses in the area.

A popular tourist spot - prepare for crowds
I visited because it is one of the recognised highlights of Verona. I was there late February and wasn't prepared for the crowds - it is an extremely popular place. Juliet's statue is there, and I heard that (for women) touching Juliet's breast is good for love, and touching her elbow is good for fertility.
