    Luxury - 19th century style
The house is definitely worth seeing for its unique architecture, but what is most impressive about it is to have a look inside 19th century rich Bulgarian families everyday life. This particular house belonged to a wealthy merchant and you can see the amenities they had two centuries ago. Adult ticket costs 6 BGN, but if you're planning to visit a lot of museums in Veliko Tarnovo, you can buy combined ticket for 20 BGN - it includes 10 museums and it's valid for 2 days. From November to March visits can only be made on request, but still it's open on some national holidays such as 3 March.

    Interesting historic merchants house
Interesting to see how a well-to-do merchant lived. And this was definitely a wealthy family since they had an indoor kitchen, indoor toilet, and ceramic fire places. And also interesting to see horizontal strips of wood built into the stone walls to allow for expansion/contraction, as well as shifting of the stones due to frequent earthquakes. Definitely need a guide to explain the details, otherwise we'd have missed so much.
