This is the same museum as Konstantsalieva House, so check out reviews there as well. Overall, an interesting visit, as long as you have a tour guide to point out and explain. Definitely a well-to-do merchant since this home had an indoor kitchen, indoor toilet, and ceramic fireplaces.

An interesting visit
An upper floor museum showing life from a particular period of history in this part of Bulgaria. Rooms are laid out in this traditional house showing how people lived. We were taken round by a local guide and she explained aspects of the exhibits. Can get crowded at times by coach tours.

Balkan life
This museum located in a typical well to do Balkan house offers an excellent insight into life in the past. The thick walls and the overhanging roof are features, together with the surrounding wall for protection. The insight into family life with the separation of male and female and the young are also worth a mention.
