Wonderful way to experience the past
I lived across the bridge from this area when this area wasn't even developed. What a pleasant surprise to return years later and find a wonderful historical outdoor museum as well as indoor displays of life in the past centuries of Vastmanland. Well maintained buildings have been moved to the area and the interpreters in many of them are well versed in history of the era of iron ore mining. And just as you've tired of all of that information, a chance to "fika" or have a coffee and baked good await you in the lovely dining room. This is definitely a place to see while in Fagersta.
