A well maintained zoo in Cali
The zoo in Cali is somewhere between the old fashioned zoos, where animals are kept in small cages and more modern zoos, where they are provided a habitat similar to their natural one. There are a wide variety of animals, including a dozens of bird species, including a condor, and mammals, such as a few species of monkeys, zebras, and big cats (the Bengal tiger being a stand out). The zoo is organized along a one-way path to prevent bottlenecks. We enjoyed our afternoon during the holidays.

Best Zoo in Colombia
The zoo was great. My girlfriend, who used to live in San Diego, said it rivaled that zoo. I can't say how true that is, but is it a very good zoo. We visited on a holiday and it was crowded, but we didn't feel it was overcrowded and we were able to see pretty much everything we wanted. The taxi to the zoo couldn't get close because of all the traffic, so we had to walk the last 3 blocks to the zoo.
