Small but delightful
We were enjoying the mountains all morning and as lunch approached the sun got even hotter so we searched for something less strenuous for the afternoon! We found this delightful museum of modern art featuring 3 main artists. Beautifully designed modern building which showcases the art works really well. The contents of Rayo’s library before he died add an interesting feature. As does the outdoor theatre, free art workshop, children’s library and Rayos grave! There is an excellent small shop without the usual commercial tat! I will return to show other friends this little gem.

Well.... Ok for 5000 pesos :)
It's a small town with a small town museum. Quite pleasant. Mr Rayo made some rather interesting 3D paintings that may interest you for a bit. A few other artists are represented... A Mexican room with a rather disorganized library above. Some modern art items. Ummm yeah well if you're in town may as well visit. Coffee across the street ok the corner not to Fusion restaurant is good.
