Wonderful collection

It is the only civil aviation and railroad museum in Colombia. See 27 full size aircraft and 4 locomotives, four model airports and two giant working model railroad layouts. More than 4500 models, many in realistic dioramas and the largest collection of airline flatware. There is also a collection of 50 uniforms and flying suits, both military and civilian.

A hidden spot near Cali's Airport
A marvelous collection of pieces re transportation. Beautiful airplanes and models. This is a plan for young children, and I would say fathers who also become children.

The Museo Aereo Fenix in Cali has something for EVERYONE
The Museo Aereo Fenix is the brain child of Jose Pardo, a successful businessman from a venerable Cali family who has transformed a large airplane hangar into a highly entertaining collection of vintage airplanes, road vehicles, model trains, and some of the accoutrements that go with them. We spent about three hours at the museum (partially air conditioned), and enjoyed the eclectic exhibits, even though we are not particularly mechanically minded or technically oriented. There is a replica of the Wright Bros. first airplane suspended from the ceiling right above a sinister-looking American gunship helicopter that was deployed in the drug-related violence that ravaged Cali and other parts of Colombia for so long. For the fashion conscious, there are actual uniforms worn by flight attendants during the last 65 years of commercial aviation. There is a small cafe with refreshments, I recommend the empanadas with spicy sauce, and whatever refreshing fruit juice that is being served.
