Breathtaking Spectacular Alp views even if you can't ski
My husband and I went there in January, even though neither of can ski. The little village at the base of the ski station is delightfully charming and once you go up to the ski station in the cable car - you will be astounded by nature's beauty. The air is so crisp and pure, the strong pine trees coloring the snowy landscape. It is a magical experience, worth the trip even if you just go up to the ski station to admire the view. There is a bar (as the Italians call it) which is actually a cafe that serves delicious hot chocolate, tea, coffee and some food. What's even more fun was stepping on the snow in the field in the little village, thinking it was solid, to find it incredibly soft and sinking right in up to our waists. In those instances, you must make a snow angel. One of the most spectacular views we have ever seen.
