Proud of the history
The museum presents the history of tje organization in an exemplary way, everything written in three languages: English, Swedish and Finnish. Lots of memorabilia, photograps, medals and clothing on display. The canteen provides coffee and pastries.

Memorable Ladies
To really appreciate this place one needs to know a bit of Finland's efforts in the second World War. Without the support of these women, (Lottas) it would not have been possible to fight the Soviets to a standstill -- and keep Finland independent. The Lottas were not soldiers but a lot of them worked right behind the front lines, cooking and nursing the wounded, among other vital tasks. The Museum is best observed by joining a guided tour - and enjoying coffee with delicious home-made pastries afterwards.Hats off to those brave gals!!
