The most important church in my life
St Michael Church is a beautiful medieval greystone church. The construction began in the 15th century. In the mid-19th century, the church was transformed into its present form as a cruciform. The church belfry was built in 1824. I lived for 42 years in Kirkkonummi and under that time visited this church tens of times: school Christmas and prize day events, christenings, confirmations, weddings, and funerals. The church is known from the stained glass windows painted by Lennart Segerstråle in 1930-31. There are a total of 40 stained glass windows.

Beautiful and Peaceful
Beautiful church and graveyard. Not too much to see inside. If you are in Kirkkonummi, don´t miss it, but not worth a special trip.

November Sunday Walk at the Urn Cemetary
The urn cemetary is a very beautiful stone garden build in a small slope next to the old church.Good place to quiet down and to remember the dear ones.
