Gunnarstrand has somehow kept its original shape and form. There are no beach side cafes or jet ski rentals, but not big tourist crowds either. A place to go for a peaceful Hanko beach moment.

A traditional Fisherman's village
Gunnarstrand is one of the most traditional small genuine areas in Hanko. No shops. No cafeterias. No beaten track. Just nature, scenic views, seagulls singing, picturesque fishermen's sheds, some occasional people enjoying the scent of the sea. You may see a fisherman cleaning his nets or another one smoking the catch. If you stay in a house nearby you can ask to buy fresh fish.

Nice beach
Nice beach to relax on and take a swim in the sea with warm water (this summer) was very nice h´this hot day (+34c).
