Really cosy old town
The area is full of small beautifully decorated ornament wooden houses. It is a nice walk araund. Cosy and well preserved

Strolling around in OldTown
The atmosphere is unique. You have à feeling of returning to the place one hundred years ago. À walk in style of the artists Helene Scherfbeck is to be recommended for everyone. À visit to the cafe Gamla Stan is a must: coffee and some salty pastry or sweet cakes and some Apple juice.

Small peacefull town
Drove from Stockholm to Helsinki we stopped at Ekenas for lunch. After parking the car at the townsquare, we walked around looking for the church. The colourful wooden houses are beautiful. It's not a tourist area as we were the only ones who walked on the street. We found a closed door with the sign "second hand shop" and we went inside. The owners speak very good English and they sell 'literally' everything. It's such a flea market as there are 6 houses with all different items from small thing to a big one. There is a small chapel in one of those houses and then we found the church but it was closed. Don't forget to visit the yacht basin (water side), nearby there is a park with a music stage in the middle. You will feel very relax when you sit on the bench of tammisaari beach.
