It's a beautiful lake, not far from Amsterdam. Clean water and there is a lot of things to do such sailing, diving etc. A restaurant at the (small) harbour offers you drink or food.

Very pretty and pretty cold
The lake is very pretty and so are its surroundings. It is pretty cold, even in the summer, but it's not too cold for swimming once you get over the first shock.

Relaxing place on a sunny day
We went there on a sunny Sunday for sunbathing. Refreshing wind from the water and enough shadow from trees if you want to cool down. Most parts of the water are used for sailing but there are also a few parts which are separated for swimming.
