Our mistake.

Take your time when you go here. We didn’t have that much time and ended up running all over the place to see what we wouldn’t see. It’s a very interesting place with a lot to see, very well exposed. We are not that much into swords, guns, pistols and the like but you can skip. There is also a lot of story telling about all kinds of people having served our country. But take your time it’s really worth doing.

    The 'Nationaal Militair Museum' (new name) is an interesting place to go.
    This park has a new name: "Nationaal Militair Museum". It provides a great overview over th military history in as great modern outfit. Also for young people very nice to see. They could participate in different child-friendly activities as well.

    Interesting military heritage with high nature values.
    This former American airforce base has been converted to a nature park of almost 400 ha. A great colony of field larks is breeding there and many other flora and fauna spoecies have developed on this spot. Several paths lead around the area, including the Paltz mansion area. Recommended.
